Alaska Sunset Cabins

Homer, Alaska

Homer, Alaska is a wonderful, artist and fishing community that is located at the very end of the Seward Highway, and 90 minutes south of Alaskan Sunset Cabins. I have lived here all of my life, and I never tire of Homer and its charm.

Homer, Alaska is home to the largest man-made spit, which cuts into Kachemack Bay. All along the spit are board walks with enough gift shops and restaurants to keep you busy all day.

Homer is also the Halibut capitol of the world, so they claim. Just take a walk along the board walk and you will find plenty of charters that will accommodate you, with full or half day trips. Once you catch your trophy, and have harbored for the day, your charter will weight and clean your halibut, before a curious crowd.

Homer is the gateway to her surrounding communities across the Kachemak Bay, nestled within the coves and bays of the mountains.
