The Danny J will leave the harbor and loop around Gull Island, where a million sea birds roost. You will see a myriad of unique Alaskan birds, the most fascinating will be the Puffin. Sea otters frequent this spot. The Danny J will drop you off in Halibut Cove for 3 hours, allowing you to roam the extended board walks that connect this village. Local art galleries and a restaurant are hot spots. Eat at the Saltry restaurant, which runs about $25 a plate. If it is a nice day, you can eat out on the promenade that extends over the water.
